Because this group is broad, recent reviews and photos are a better guide than the category alone. Most kitchens in Allentown will adjust a dish for common dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: bars open late and cafes close early. Happy-hour pizza deals are common at bars across Pennsylvania on weekday afternoons, and many casual restaurants take reservations online through third-party platforms while fast-food spots are walk-in only.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AM–2 AM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (484) 221-8765. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thelibertytaproom.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 912 reviews, which is a strong result for a bar in Allentown and suggests consistent service.
Allentown is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Allentown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was excellent. Had the Korean street tacos. The flavor was 🔥. Wife had the wings which were delicious and smothered in sauce, but a little on the big size. Son had the hangover burger and onion rings and said it was amazing.

My brothers and I been coming here for the last 5 years. We know the staff and we’re somewhat regulars. I came here tonight to pick up a pizza. Pizza was taking a long time so my bother decided to get a drink. I forgot my id at home so I wasn’t able to get one. I took a sip of my brothers drink. The waiter, who knows me as she’s been working here for longer than I’ve been coming here, walked over and yanked the drink out of my hands as I was mid sip. All because I forgot my id at home… the women in this place are absolutely miserable, and frankly DISGUSTING. Not presentable what so ever. The men are cool. Place needs new ownership and the girls need to leave

Picked this place out randomly on a short visit. Amazing service and genuinely friendly vibes from the staff. Good grub and an even better beer selection for this IPA snob. A perfect neighborhood stop and the music was not overly loud (so many pubs get this wrong). If we ever find ourselves in Allentown again, this place will be at the top of the list.

The burger wasn't the best, but overall, the experience was super positive. Friendly people, good food, affordable prices. Recommended: Mac n' Gouda bites. The best on the table. The burger was also really good. Recommended. Fries were crispy and very tasty. Overall, it was a 4.5 experience, they deserve the 5 stars.
